Alex Y. Ding is an organizer, filmmaker, and journalist based in Chicago. She is the Dr. Aizik Wolf Fellow in Human Rights at Siskel/Jacobs Productions, where she supports feature-length documentaries No Small Matter and The Road Up. She is a video journalist at Free Spirit Media covering arts and culture on Chicago’s West Side. Prior to that, Alex served on the steering committees of the National Prison Divestment Campaign and #CareNotCops, and has organized in Chicago around racial and economic justice for four years. Alex received a B.A. in Race and Ethnic Studies and Anthropology from the University of Chicago.
