Sara Osman is a Somali-American writer and storyteller from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Through her time as a community organizer, Sara has done work in restorative practices and education. In 2018, Sara and her friends launched The Qalanjo Project, a Somali arts education community org located in Minneapolis. Sara is interested in exploring identity, space and memory as it relates to the experiences of youth in the Somali diaspora and reimagining personal narratives.
