Ahmad Ghanim (he/him) is a Palestinian film director and photographer whose experiences as a first-generation Arab American have created a strong desire to preserve stories of marginalized voices. They have deepened his interest in exploring his Palestinian identity and ancestral history through visual and narrative media. As an artist, Ahmad sees it as his responsibility to craft representations that foster empathy and understanding. His most recent works deal with intergenerational family dynamics, identity, and displacement. Ahmad is getting ready to direct his first feature length documentary centered on Palestinian voices in the diaspora.
