Daleelah Saleh (she/her)  Egyptian by way of Astoria, Daleelah Saleh is a multi-media storyteller, educator, and creative producer. She recently directed From Steinway, With Love, a short doc and love letter to her family, her faith, and the community that raised her. Daleelah has a degree in film and media studies from Middlebury College, where her research focused on complicating the representation of Arab and Muslim women on screen. She continues that work as the co-founder of “Balady Film Club”, through which she curates pop-up film screenings in conversation with creatives from across the Arab diaspora. When she’s not teaching storytelling with The Moth, Daleelah can be found in venues across NYC with a camera or microphone in hand.
