Sneha Bhabar (she/her) is currently completing her editing specialization at the Film and Television Institute of India. She is from Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh, India, and her upbringing there has shaped the way she observes people and engages with the world around her. Coming from an indigenous community, she is interested in exploring how these stories are represented and understood through cinema. Her work spans short films and documentary explorations rooted in lived experience, often engaging with questions of identity, place, and everyday realities. She is currently working with an NGO in Maharashtra, on short documentaries that look at women-run self-help groups and how they create spaces for support, independence, and collective decision-making in everyday life.
